Cosmetic Dentistry

Changing how your teeth look, without pretending it is not dentistry.

Cosmetic treatment covers whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping — work aimed primarily at appearance rather than function.

Good cosmetic dentistry starts with healthy teeth and gums. We treat any decay or gum disease first; cosmetic work placed over an untreated problem does not last and can hide something that needs attention.

What treatment involves

  1. 01

    What you want to change

We start with your own description of what bothers you, then examine what is achievable and what the trade-offs are.

  2. 02

    Planning and preview

Digital smile design lets you see a proposed result before irreversible work begins — particularly important for veneers.

  3. 03

    Treatment

Whitening, bonding, or veneers are carried out and refined until the result matches what was agreed.

Good to know

  • Whitening lightens natural tooth enamel. It does not change the colour of existing crowns, veneers, or fillings, which may then need replacing to match.
  • Veneers usually require removing a thin layer of enamel. That part cannot be undone.
  • Results vary between people. We will tell you what is realistic for your teeth rather than showing you someone else’s.
